The Wallingford Corn Exchange required a new website and branding, I looked at several designs for the brand including concentrating on the W (for Wallingford) with arrows (for the exchange bit), I also designed a brand with custom typography in the shape of ears of corn. The client decided they wanted the brand to show the actual Corn Exchange, I used a simplified illustration style with fresh colours to add modernity. I also designed the brand guidelines brochure, vouchers, a what’s on guide, a what’s on e-mailer, stationery, posters, flyers and a responsive website as well. The website has a colour coded event calendar, a slider showing the next 7 events coming up and a home page tab system so customers can just look at the events that interest them. Each event also links to the customers Google Calendar so they can save it as a reminder of when the event is on.
